Advance Auto MPL aerosol

Postby Bus Driver » Sat May 28, 2011 4:37 pm

These stores are convenient to most of my usual paths of travel and I stop in often. Their own brand of penetrant/lubricant is called MPL. It is moderately priced and works about as well as the typical spray penetrant. But the cans are so incredibly thin that they must be handled as if they were raw eggs. Jostling in a tool box on the tractor with other contents is fatal. Hauling in the pickup means that it must be in a separate box to protect it. Today the can I needed had been punctured by some little something and was useless- empty with no pressure. All that takes away the economy of low purchase price.
