Black Hands no more... Black Magic Protectrant

Postby Buzzard Wing » Mon Jun 13, 2011 8:29 am

Someone recommended this stuff to me for the Cub steering wheel..... it works well. Called Back Magic Proectant and comes in a pump spray.

So far the only down side I have found is that when I used it on the rubber boot for a 12v light that the paint didn't do to well after that. I suspect it has silicone and you should be careful if you are going to paint afterwards. Silicone will raise heck with most any paint....

Available at most auto supply places. A little bit goes a long way.

Yep Grump, but what I have is a much smaller bottle.

Best bet is to apply with something disposable (rag, paper towel).
