I borrowed one of these little maintainer/charger from a neighbor and tried not to give it back, but he persisted. It is perfect to keep a battery fully charged. Maybe a little slow for a rundown one. So, while in my friendly Tractor Supply yesterday, I noticed that it was on sale. So now I have one to use and loan to friends and neighbors.

Very handy to have. Got one on each of the boat batteries. Due to my CRS I'd rarely keep em charged threw the winter. Bought these "minders" and haven't had to worry about em since!!

Re: Battery Maintainer
I own 4 of them, and would buy more if the wife would stay out of the shed. Very easy to use, and seem to really last. I even ran over one and it still works just fine. Just a side note, the company is very friendly and will send you more of the ring type pigtail connectors for a very reasonable price.

Re: Battery Maintainer
Same one I have....I believe normal price at Wally world is $20...
Mine even resurrected a battery someone told me was bad.
It's nice being able to put it on any Cub and not have to worry if it's 6 or 12 volt.

I use them. Really extends battery life. Ed (and is cheaper than repairing the charging system!)

Re: Battery Maintainer
I have one as well and I intend to get a couple more, cheapest and easiest way to keep batteries charged. 1 for Ellie, 1 for Granny, 1 for the JD and 1 for the the 129 in time. Excellent investments

Re: Battery Maintainer
I'm up to 8 or 9 of them now. I keep one on every tractor, boat, skid steer, mower and pickup battery over the winter. Wouldn't be without them.

Re: Battery Maintainer
I have a half dozen or so of maintainers, various brands. With all the junk, I mean equipment, I have around here they easily pay for themselves. I have them on garden tractors, my zero turn mower, motorcycles, our ATV and tractors. With the price of batteries and the way that some of the vehicles set for periods of time due to seasonal usage, the maintainer keeps the batteries in top condition and last much longer. Heck the Gel battery in my motorcycle retails for well over $100. The Gel battery requires a special maintainer, I had to buy a special maintainer for that battery.

Re: Battery Maintainer
I know you can get these maintainers for about $20 at Walmart, but Tractor Supply has them on sale for $19.99 until 12/29 with an additional 15% off that until 12/24, net $16.99.
