Sales issue solved....

Spent some time talking with Don at Defarmall and found that Defarmall is not some giant parts warehouse, is a very friendly mom and pop shop livin' the dream many of us wish we could be doing full-time.

In the end, no harm no foul and Don is gonna keep me on the list for the next bell crank he gets in....

RedFox, I agree with you don't think I will be buying from them either.

OK it sounds like Don is trying to be above board in his dealings, I have bought several parts from them, never had a problem, so all that has been said I will continue.

This strikes me as a simple error. After all, it would have been to their advantage to have said that they listed it on eBay and given you the pointer to the listing. Is what you stated above all they said? As of now, the part is listed on their site as SOLD.

I find Don and Teresa To be very good folks to deal with, I am sure it was an error of some type, not to be taking up for them, but I do know there are health problems there.

First, I have to agree with Jim on this one. Did you make any further contact with the seller to try to resolve the issue?

Secondly, this is not the venue to air your grievances with a third party seller.

That part was originally on eBay with a low starting bid. The reserve was not met. I am guessing they relisted it with their reserve price as the starting bid, which is what you see now. Like Boss, I have purchased from them before and been impressed with their quality and service. I too would guess that a mistake took place here, not some kind of intentional deception.

The topic is not "wrong", but the venue is. A better place would be "off Topic" or "products and services"

Yes, well said. I've bought from Defarmall Cub a couple of times (I think one of them was on eBay) and I remember being very pleased with the transactions. Give them another chance.

Based on what you all have said, and because Don stepped up, I gave him a call. I believe he did see my point and assured me that isn't the way they do business, and I believe him, so I've pulled most of the stuff here and am happy to give him the benefit of the doubt. He's gonna put my name on the next bellcrank, so thanks Don, you are a stand up guy.

Thanks to REDFOX,we have covered what happened to his satisfaction. Also we are going to be more diligent on items we have on Ebay and in stock on the web.We do have hundreds of parts and are definitely behind on our updating. We are working on this now that I am back and in good shape after my open heart surgery on June 5. As always we are only a phone call away. Don Eicher DEFARMALLCUBS.
