If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

I would not bother with changing your time from Eastern Standard to Daylight and back again. It should change automatically. I am in Atlantic time and it is Zulu (GMT) -04:00hrs. So when it is Midnight or 2400 hrs it is actually 2000 here or 8pm AST.

I never adjust for DST ... to painful. Besides, I think the software auto adjusts for DST beginning and end...

Time doesn't change for DST Rudi. At least not for me. I have to change it in my profile to make it right. Only takes a second though.

BD:

K, answers that then doesn't it???

I never really worry about it though... time lately is of no consequence.. mostly because I never remember it anyways

I imagine that the time stamp in flash chat is based on what? the time zone settings here on the forum or on our puters????

Must check that next time I log into flash chat..

How do you change time? Mine is about 6 hours off. I live in central time zone.

Muleboss - go to your profile. Scan down the preferences and near the bottom you will see the time zone setting.
