Since I am new to this fine forum. I want to read all pages as I get time. Can I select a certain page and go directly to it without scrolling through one page at a time? For instance, now pages 1,2,3 ...........157,158,159 are the only available to select.
By the way this is a great informative forum. Keep up the good work.

How much time do you have
There are a lot of threads... it would take probably a year to read em all on all of the forums...
on this forum alone there are 7,957 threads with 66,517 posts.... even if I was stuck at the North Pole at CFS Alert again for 6 months or Scott Base Antartica.. I don't think I could read em all..
All told there are as of 2359 AST on the 23rd of July 2006 - 82,109 posts on this site....
That is one TALL order

Unfortunately there is no way to get directly to the middle pages. That is also one of My pet peeves having to spend so much time getting to the middle of the pack.
Then came Bronson

If you really want to jump down into the middle somewhere, modify the URL as it is showing in your browser. For example, if you go into the Farmall Cub forum and page down, the URL will look something like this:
http://www.farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewfo ... &start=150
The end of it is "start=150" which means start listing at the 150th post. Page 2 is 50, page 3 is 100 etc. Just overstrike the number with thatever number you want to start with. Of course, as new posts are made, these numbers are a moving target, just like the page numbers are.

It isn't real obviuous how to ge the right page and I probably didn't explain it too well. The number you put in on the URL line corresponds to individual records displayed, mot page numbers. This is page ten of the member list in ascending joined date sequence (note number of 450 ( ( 10-1 ) * 50)
