I got to the flashchat site, but can't find anyone else. I have never used it, I was there with the old system and had the same problem.
what am I doing wrong. or, what do I need to do?

Check Flash Chat about 8:30 - 9:00 pm CST and you should find someone there.
If you see an (M) in front of one of the names listed , be real nice and polite

Flashchat is for real time chatting with other members. As Jim indicated, to be able to actually use flashchat, there must be two or more members in flash at the same time. I check flash every now and then, and sometimes ifn I wanna chat I send a pm to a specific user who is on line to meet in flash and poof you can then converse real time when they log into it. Usually anytime after 8 or 9pme est folks start showing up.

The first guy on for every session gets there and doesn't find anyone. Got to wait until somebody else shows up. (Some times of day would be a long wait!)

usually a bunch of us in it from about 8:30 to 10:00 pm central time every night.
