Steve, just click on the profile button at the top of the page. Once in your profile page, scroll to the bottom. There is a window with instructions for adding your avatar.

Steve,

It seems some have trouble over the file size. Edit the picture you want to use so it is no larger than 80 by 80 pixels. Also select a picture that isn't too complicated to be viewed at that small size. Some of us geezers can't make out what some of them are. Some, like John !#$%^ are too clear! :D

Go to http://www.irfanview.com. Thye have a free program you can download for resizing, etc., that works very well and is easy to use.
