posting .xls file

I know you can post link to where it is stored on a server, but is there any way to make an Excel spread sheet show directly on the forum? I manged a work-a-round by printing it, then scanning the print to a .jpg file, then reducing it to a size the forum would accept and then posting it. Took me almost as long to accomplish that as it did to gather the data.

John, I have XLS and other formats turned off for several reasons. They require a computer with MS Office and even different versions of MS-Office, plus the biggest, they can easily contain macro viruses. (I'm not saying you would do that, but if I open it up, anyone could upload XLS files.)

Best bet is to print them to a PDF file like Raymond does.

I figured there was a reason, just had not figured out what it was. Being rather naive about such things I hadn't thought about the possibility of viruses being embedded in the macros. I prefer not having to worry about virus, so not allowing the.xls files is good.

I think the compatibility is really the biggest issue with .XLS files. And PDF's are not totally free from having viruses either.
