I recently bought a new computer to replace my eleven year old one. Gradually I am getting my stuff moved from one machine to the other. Right now I have this site on my old computer because I cannot for the life of me remember the password on my account. What's the best way to handle this. I was thinking about clicking on the "I forgot my password" line on the sign in page. Will this let me select a new password or tell me what my old password is? Things like this are why it took me so long to upgrade my computer, plus the fact that I am a tightwad.

Re: Password & new computer
I can't remember exactly what this site does, but normally it does one of these:
1. Sends you an email with a link to reset your password, possibly after answering a security question to verify your identity.
2. Allows you to change your password directly, after answering one or more security questions.
3. Less often, it will email you your password directly.
Regardless you have nothing to lose by clicking the button. You'll get a password one way or another.

Re: Password & new computer
Ed, first visit the User Control Panel (top left corner of the forum) and make sure your email address up to date (let me know if it is not and I'll fix it for you.)
Then use the "for got password" link on the login page. Remember, passwords are always Case sensitive.
Any problems, give me an email at cub@farmallcub.com
