I think you will see photobucket go away as I can't see anyone wanting to pay $399 a month just to link their pictures to another website. I guess a few would still want to use it to store their images, but other than that, what is the function of photobucket - most who have an account want to link to their images there. Now they can't unless they want to pay big bucks to do so.

I believe that is per year, but still too much.

You're right, per year.

Oh well.... nothing is really free. It was a very convenient way to post pictures and there will be a decent number of my posts that have a hole where there should be a picture or two or even many. I knew it going in and although now you can upload an 'in line' photo to the board, it wasn't possible in the past. I could cause a similar result by removing my pictures on Photobucket or closing my account. Those pictures never 'belonged' to the forum. They are still there, just not visible on the forum.

If you can still see the pictures but not download them, right click on each image and select copy image, then save that image. It will not be the same quality as the original, but you will have it. I did not have a Photobucket account, so I set up a free one and copied Farmall Bob's diagrams to it, then saved them to my pc for my personal use.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

All my pictures I have on there were originally uploaded from my camera to my computer. I then uploaded to Photobucket. They are still on my computer.

I am currently testing a new version of PhotoHost to replace the hard to use version we now have.
