This saw is heads and shoulders above any jigsaw i have ever used in my life. Lots of power, variable speed. Adjustments, etc. The only problem with the item saw, is that i did get it sooner. Love it. 5 stars...... http://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-Bare-Tool- ... 401&sr=8-1John

if you watch closely, Amazon's price on many tools like that are pretty hard to beat. That saw is on my wish list, but the reciprocal saw and Skill type saw are ahead of it. i did just the the 4 1/2 battery powered cutoff/grinder, and am truly impressed with it.

My only complaint with the saw is the VERY fragile lever that unlocks the blades for changing. If you snap that little lever off, you'll spend the rest of the day trying to change the blade. Don't ask me how I know.
Milwaukee has a better quick change tool lock, less likely to fail, in my opinion. Other than that, it's an excellent saw.
