A New Dog House

Got a project that you are working on that is not a tractor? Maybe a barn to hold your tractors or just fun stuff like woodworking, glass, tools, sheds, gardens, custom implements, etc., this is the place to talk about it.

Or maybe to look at one of these.

Great job, looks like it was there from the time the house was built.

I have to to Michael, they keep a pretty good eye on things and let me know when someone is here. At least one of them is always laying close to me or Rosanne whenever we are out working in the garden. When I am out in the barn late at night one will lay by the door and another will lay just around the corner. They never let me walk alone around the property at night and they always go in the barn before me. I'd say they are pretty protective.

I think they take care of us better than we take care of them at times.

Bill, If you haven't seen or read this book, I think you would like it. Was hard for me to put it down.

Barnyard, I really enjoyed your project. Wish I could have found suitable used lumber for my Cub lean to, but I'm a city dweller and didn't have a chance to search before the cold weather. We had a border collie on the farm and NOTHING got between him and the house! One summer day I heard the dog barking and someone shouting. Went to the back door and there was the Fuller Brush man sitting on the roof of his car. Now we have two Beagles and they are very vocal when someone approaches the house. They can tell when our son is nearing the house, like a block away, they run to the back door.
