The only time you will ever regret having that is when you think about how much it cost. One suggestion before you get it in place. remove the drain petcock form the bottom and run a piece of pipe to the outer edge where it is easier to reach. Reaching up under those big tanks to drain the water gets to be a pain after a while.

Speaking of compressor cost, 25 years ago I needed a compressor and they were fairly expensive my 12 gallon 2 1/2 horsepower Craftsman was almost 300 dollars , today 300 dollars will buy a fairly large compressor, compressors have come way down in price :o

When you consider where the parts originate, the price reduction is understandable. Mine contains parts from Taiwan, Germany, Canada & USA.
Also the tank isn't nearly as heavy as the older ones

Nice addition. The useful thing about uprights is the space that they do not take compared to a lay down. I have a great DeVilbliss 100 gallon lay down that I have had for almost 25 years now. Great compressor ... just takes us more floor space than I would like.

Interesting - especially for those of us with either no knees or very bad knees -- no bending with that one :D
