Restoring L 38 disk harrow

I'm in the process of restoring a cub l 38 disk harrow. Bearings were shot. Disks and frame were in good condition. I used Agri Supply #28211 bearing halves. The bolt hole spacing is different, requiring one new hole, per bearing, to mount. I bolted the bearing in place, with one bolt, then, using a transfer punch, marked the other hole for drilling, in the frame. These bearings require a longer bolts, than the originals. I replaced the bearing spools, also, using Agri Supply #22810 spools. These are an inch too long. I cut a half inch off each side, using a bandsaw, creating the proper 6 1/2 inch length, and keeping the bearing centered. Parts are now cleaned and painted, ready for putting back together, as soon as the replacement bearing half, arrives. (One bearing half "escaped", in transit, replaced without question, by Agri Supply) Ed
