Food Grade PaintI am looking for a lead on either a food grade paint or coating for my fruit press. The bottom plate has a light rust on it that I don't think would help the taste of any pressed juice. I have googled it and tried to find something appropriate and have came up with a big 0 so far any help out there?

Re: Food Grade PaintI would coat it with oil between uses and power wash to remove the oil when I use it.

Re: Food Grade PaintFrom a wood-turners perspective:
avoid vegetable and nut oils these will go rancid after a while. Beside the General Products Salad bowl finish, which is a good choice, light mineral oil will also work, as it does not impart a taste and is not a problem for people with sensitivities to nut oils.
