If you are looking for something that is easy to build, cheap, and will make you a hero to the Grandkids --- try making a marshmallow shooter. Made a couple this morning and they were a hit. Take a look.

Biggest hit of the holiday Bill, even Graycub said I should have waited and given to him for Christmas.
Mom was okay with it although after firing the same round a couple times they start sticking to the walls, cat and mom.
When he gets home from school tomorrow I'm sure it'll be the first thing he picks up.
Thanks ! :D
2 guns with ammo a little less than $10 with enough stick pipe left over for a couple more.

In my mind I see marshmallows under the couch, under tables, etc.

We built them together without him knowing what it was until I fired the first shot. His eyes bugged out he was so excited and he kept coming back all evening thanking me over and over....
Simple things sometimes bring a lot of Joy.

We made some a few years back and the kids and grandkids had a ball with them, or should I say marshmallow.

my grandpa made me a potato/walnut/tennis ball shooter when I was 12..... oh the joys of aqua net and lantern filament. Not to mention the looks on mom's face fussing at her own dad! :)
