Had the F250 outside for a while today

Today was "re-arrange the barn" day so I figured, as long as I have it outside, better make sure a Cub fits on the 8' body I built last year. This truck will be getting a crate engine (351 c.i.) in the near future. In case you're wondering, the IH on the door is a magnetic sign.

Bob,

Tell us more about the design of those ramps. Looks interesting.

Bob, these would have been much easier to build!

Each is a simple PT 14' 2x12 with 2x4 sides and 5/16 x 3 1/2 lags every 16". I considered adding steel to each but actually they only deflect an inch or 2, so I decided to avoid adding weight. At the top end there's a steel connector which I will post a picture tomorrow (it's dark out).

A while back I had made this video, different truck, same ramps:

You should get rid of that sissy winch and drive the cub up the ramp. :tractor:

That winch is used almost every day believe it or not. And Sunday morning it will assist in taking down a 100' pine tree that's 68' from my house. Nothing like waiting until the last minute with a hurricane coming !

I know you're joking because those wooden ramps give a little. it would be a scary !
