Interesting. But, not a new invention. We used to heat up our C-Rats over a stove made with a discarded C-Rat can, a little SE Asian sand and some JP4 drained from the fuel sump of our aircraft. Worked like a charm and there was no shortage of cans.

I didn't have JP4, but little balls of C4 explosive, worked well. Burned hot and fast. Had to keep feeding it, but, it worked!

Just working and trying to stay out of trouble. I read the forum everyday, just been quiet lately. I had to move Seafoam outside in backyard, ran out of room in garage, too many toys.
