Finally a Cub House!

Got a project that you are working on that is not a tractor? Maybe a barn to hold your tractors or just fun stuff like woodworking, glass, tools, sheds, gardens, custom implements, etc., this is the place to talk about it.

David,
Wow, looking great! What area is that in? Looks like what we're trying to find, about 10-acres and maybe an old farm building or two. That building was in way too good shape to tear down so I'm glad to see you do the refurbish to it. Most folks would have just torn it down and moved on. Should make a great Cub house!

Thanks all!

Bill,

You probably delivered tractors near where it is located. :D The property is northwest of Trenton on Jacksonburg Rd., just north of hwy 73.
I got the doors on and am ready to start on some additional wiring (more lights and receptacles), relocating stairs to the loft and assembling shelves. I started moving Cub Cadets over, hope to get the Cubs moved in a week or two.

The doors look great! :D I sure wish mine was going along this well. :( But, the weather is breaking and the builder said he will be here early Sunday to get back at it. :D
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

David:

That looks really good and the red siding adds a nice IH flavour to the whole project. Now .. tool bays, shelves, bench... yup .. a real nice place for a CubFest :-)

Well, my 4 year old grandson Logan helped me move the "big red tractors" to the "White Barn" Saturday. He spent the night Friday and all he could talk about was going to "Mr. Dan's black barn" (which is brown) to get the big trailer to bring the tractors to the barn and he was going to help! He didn't go to bed until after 10:00 and was up bright and early asking when we were leaving. I took one at a time over and we rode each one around the property (he steered). We piddled some on this and that and finished up around 6:00 and when I was taking him home he said he wanted me to tell mommy everything we did today. I said “why don’t you”, he replied “I might miss something”. I asked him what was his favorite thing he did, he replied "oh Papa, EVERYTHING!".... I had to agree!
