Completely true, BTW. When i was about Mikey's age, we went camping with extended family at a local state park with a lake and dam. At the time, the public was allowed to tour the dam. My brother and I knew this and were looking forward to going on the tour. So we kept asking Mom when we'd get to "go on the dam tour?" Unfortunately, our older cousin, who did not know about the tour, didn't quite understand what we were asking for. :D

I can relate, you see my wife's stepmother's' last name is Dam. Last November we drove 1 hour to the Dam house to sit for Thanksgiving dinner at the Dam dinner table. While eating we talked about Dam relatives and after dessert we took a Dam family holiday picture.

You get idea, it never gets old!

I remember a country mail box that said The whole Dam family
1975 cub (LouAnn) serial # 245946, 1941 John Deere Model H
