Great!
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Made it home safely around 7pm local time. It was a mostly uneventful drive home except for the chest of drawers in the middle of interstate 64 in downtown Louisville. Thanks for all the help and enjoyed seeing old friends.

I had such a successful Bash!!! With fantastic assistants, we completed a split and replaced a bad spring on my clutch. Then, the crew gratiously did a second split a short time later when there was still a problem. Swapped out the clutch plate, reassembled everything...again!...and it seems to have done the job! I can't thank you all enough! :hattip:

Next, we tested 2 battery chargers that were questionable: one works well, the other was toast!

Then moved on to my Mott Flail Mower, which had been removed for the split. A couple years or so ago I had purchased a Mott Electric Sharpener from a forum member, replaced the stones, but never used it. This was a good opportunity to try it out. It immediately failed, but I had a knowledgeable audience, and they figured out the problem. In short order it was working. There are 4 rows of knives, and after a tentative start, I finished 1 row. A volunteer offered to try it next, and did such a superb job, that I "allowed" him to do the remaining rows!!

Finally, a dear sweet person drilled out the old worn pins on 4 PTO shift levers, and welded in new ones made from a drill bit (that was purchased by someone that I forgot to reimburse!!. Please PM me with what I owe you and accept my apology!)

Oh, I forgot one: I coerced a friend into drilling out the broken screw in a hydraulic quadrant stop, so now I have a beauitful functional spare!

So you can see, this was a most worthwhile and rewarding cubfest, ON TOP OF having another great visit with Barnyard and his Merry Band of friends! A HUGE thank you to everyone, especially Bill and Rosie, as well as all those responsible for some exceptional food! :{_}:

I must confess, though, I REALLY shouldn't have eaten those pastries!!!
