Cubfest North east October 11, 12 and 13
It’s that time of year again. Cubfest Northeast will be held at 271 Stafford Rd.in Oxford, New York. Please let me know if you will be attending so I can plan the meals.
I have been told that Donnegalcub ( Bernard) will be coming in from Ireland. I guess that means Bob McCarty will not get the farthest distance traveled this year.
I will also be posting this on the various cub sites on Facebook as there are many people on those sites that don’t belong to the board.
Pris and I are looking forward to seeing all of our old friends and making new ones.
Below are the names and phone numbers of the local hotels.
Fred’s Inn. 607-334-9282 About 5 miles away
Howard Johnsons. 607-334-2200 About 8 miles away
Super Eight Hotel 607-296-0524 About 9 miles away

That’s only a couple hrs away from me in CT. What’s this all about/like? I could definitely be interested in this. Looks like a nice bike ride/day trip too.

Mike, hopefully these videos will help explain a little about a CubFest.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

So it's a bunch of the folks from this forum that gather it up and work on Cubs in the same spot? That sounds like a huge collective knowledge base of an unstoppable repair force! does everyone bring a tractor? I have no way to transport mine, but I'd like to just go and watch and learn. Is that well enough?

Mike you do not need to bring a tractor. Just wanting to watch and learn is important. Some might bring a component to get help with such as a trans or carb, but even that is not a requirement. Just go and have fun, you won't regret it. You will see why members drive hundreds of miles to attend a CubFest. I drive 1200 miles every year to attend one in Colorado.
