Well, it's offical...on this, the coldest day of Winter so far, I decided that we all need a little reminder of Spring coming...

After talking with Brian, we have decided to give the Cheesy Cubfest another go up on Liethen Ridge next May.

The dates are May 13, 14, and 15, 2011. I'll be at the land on Thursday night, May 12 for those of you who like to come early.

As some of you recall, we have had conflicts with the date being the same weekend as Mother's Day. Well, this year, we lucked out, and Mother's Day is early this year on May 8th, so this hopefully will allow more folks to come up and play...er...um...work with us!

I have updated the Cheesy Cubfest Website to reflect the dates, so please feel free to check this out for more info!

Hope to see you guys there!!!

Hey Mike; Do you have any work lined up? It's about that time when I start getting tools and equipment ready to load up. Anything special I need to bring or just bring everything I can think of?

Mark,

Thank you for bumping this thread. Actually, things I can think of would be a portable press as we have two final drives to work on and swap, and your rosebud wrench...I would like to have another look at Merlin's front end and see if we can free up the knees again. Roland's sickle mower is off of him because of the loader going on, so I know that there will be some mowing time needed in the field! You''ll get to take him off the trailer this year!!!

Keep your fingers crossed for NO RAIN that weekend!!!

I have a 6 ton HF press I can bring. don't know for sure if a final drive will fit in it though. Has anybody used one of these for a cub final?

Mike was planing on the fire wrench. I would hate to see Merlin get the best of us. I guess I'll load stuff until I run out of room, or stuff. Did Brian get his shed built? I was thinking about building a canopy for over the trailer. ( to keep the hot sun off )

Speaking of Brian, if you talk to him tell him to feel free to stop by here if he goes to his Dad's cabin for the opening of fishing season. ( or any time ) I don't think it is much farther to swing by here then his normal route.
