...but I'm in my home office under a mound of paper. :(
Cecil, Bill Hudson, Ed, Art, and others are having all the fun. :{_}:
I plan on getting there this afternoon.
Woke up this morning with crystal clear blue skies and about 36 degrees. Supposed to hit 70 this afternoon. :sunning:

Hope somebody there is taking pictures.

Peter

Yep Peter... some of us have to keep the economy going!

I am doing my part, the Ford was kind enough to wait till I got home for the water pump seal to give out.... It would have not been pleasant to have that happen on the GW bridge in NYC with a 1/2 ton of Cub implements. Should be fixed today.

I spoke with Art on Thursday night, it sounded like everything was ready to go and you were going to have good weather too! The guys from the QVEA put on a GREAT show 3 times a year. If anyone has not attended one of these I encourage you to try and get there!

Sadly for me, I can't make it this year because:
1) I still don't have the house done, we still live in the camper.
2) Based on my calculations, it will take $1,456,887 in diesel fuel to get there.

Have a great weekend and please post lots pictures so we can all enjoy it remotely!

We got a couple of quick showers, but the day was generally good. Art rubbed it in, of course! Ended tonight, most had orders to be home for Mothers day. Ed

The price of oil has now dropped about $3/barrel. So it should only take roughly $1,456,800 now. :big smirk:

Here are Bob Phillips (driver) and Ed Darowski (rider) testing a rare cub implement, the pedestrian spreader:

Great day in CT yesterday, every year the association seems to add more machinery to the working display. Lauren and I really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for having us.

Hey Jim, maybe we can get one of those haulers for Jason's Tug puller so Ed can ride along and give him pointers.
The poor boys wife keeps beating him on his own tractor...

Poor Jason, that boy sure takes a bit of harassment... maybe we should let up! NAAAAAAAAA, its too much fun!
I was standing on my lumber, which had been cut on the Zagray Farm antique sawmill. Bob was using it as a pedestrian mower, 14 feet wide, and needed it weighted, to be more effective. Ed

I got back home about 9 PM last night and crashed. We had a great time, although there was not much work to do. It was a very relaxing weekend. Thanks Art and Peter for putting this one on and I look forward to next year as always.
