Mini Fest in Florida

Postby Mr E » Fri Oct 07, 2011 7:37 pm

I had a visit from two of my best friends today. Raymond came by to drop off some tractor stuff on his way to Colorado. Billy Ray & I took apart the hydraulic cylinders off his loader cub while we were waiting for Raymond to arrive. He will get the parts and replace the packing in those to get the loader back in tip-top condition.

Momma E. fixed us up with a delicious lunch and we were sure to show her how much we appreciated it by trying to eat most of it.  We had a great BS session and talked a bunch of tractor stuff.

You can tell from the picture below who did the most talking and who did the most listening.

The lovely Ms. Elizabeth kept us company while we talked tractors. Man, that little lady sure is growing up and getting more beautiful every day!

And a special "Thanks" to Raymond for the welding lesson.

It is always a fun time to get together with these two guys. Great friends and good buddies.

Raymond and Elizabeth stopped by here for a little break this afternoon. Raymond and I went out for a barn tour while Elizabeth opted to join Marie for a little visit in the kitchen. If there were only two of us, does that make it a microfest? No pictures, but I hope they enjoyed the middle of the day break.

We certainly did Jim, thank you for allowing us to stop in for a bit! Makes the day full of driving much better when you can stop and stretch your legs, even better when you are able to take a gander at some tractors and talk old iron!!
Thanks again, hope to catch up with you again this next year!

Wow, Raymond! Good time you're making, pal. And I am jealous. I'd sure love to see Jim's stable.
