Postby Mr E » Thu Jan 26, 2012 8:11 am

Just a reminder. If you have a project you would like to add to the DSCF project board, please let me know and we'll have it added to the website page.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in February.

Roy, we have the motor out of Walts Cub. For 3 years we have been talking about doing some work on it. It needs front and rear seals, but the biggest issue is--5 head bolts broke off upon removal.

Has anyone gotten one of Earl's fancy new head bolt removal tools that could bring it and demonstrate it on Walt's motor?

If so we will bring it, if not we won't.

Thanks
Dale and Walt

I don't have a set of Earl's but I do have a set made for removing head bolts. The head will have to be with it to center the tool.

Thanks Cecil. The head is no problem.

I need to find out if Walt can get the gasket kit. We can put it back together any time, but the head bolts are the biggest issue.

I'm supposed to be getting one of Earl's kits. Maybe between that and Cecil's stuff we can get it done.

Let me know for sure if you want me to add to the project list (and exactly what projects you need to add).

Ditto. My Dad was bring the few sets he made to hand out. I am bringing a set of brake bands that Dr. Bob was going to show me/us how to reline them.

Yes Roy, add the head bolts, and if we can swing the cost of the seal and gasket kit, we can do that too for Walt. Nothing for me that I am aware of.

Have Billray bring his projects. I can't get everything together for the DSCF.

Guys,
The Fest is just around the corner. If you have any projects not already on the list, get them to me so we can get 'em added.

Can't wait to see everyone. Here is the only weather report Billy Ray is supplying me with for the moment.

Roy, In addition to the set that Harold posted about, Coppersmythe is bringing a set of bands to reline. It doesn't really NEED to be on the list, but I'd like to see the nifty picture posted there. :D

How about standing Mr. E's tractor back up after the front axle wedge demo? That should take a while.

Jim,
Looks like I'd better chain my cubs to the floor just before the front axle wedge demo.

Hey, you guys check out the weather widget Matt has added to the website for the current weather forecast down our way.
We'll see you guys in just a few days now. Everyone please drive carefully on the way.
