Hey Darrell & Janet...I understand about needing to 'downsize' to someplace more appropriate. There is no question that both of you and the rest of your family have put hundred of hours of work & effort into hosting the "Cub Tug" over the past 6 years, and everyone on FarmallCub.Com has benefited greatly from your friendship, knowledge and generous spirit. I am proud to know you both and also proud to have been at your home at 'Cub Fest 2005'...All the BEST...'Country'

I'm a little slow and don't check this part of the forum that often but just got the word from Barnyard about no Tug. My son and I were lucky enough to attend last years event and had a blast. Thank you for the hard work you have done and the help you have given me since joining. And the help I'm sure you'll continue to give. Good luck and your family will be in my prayers.

BD. Last year was my first time at the Cub Tug. I didn't bring mine and was looking forward to this years tug. I pray that all things will work out for good in your life. Thanks for a great ride while it lasted. Sure hope someone else will step up and sponsor a tug in the future. Harry

I was talking with the garden tractor club about the cancellation and it seems they have an interest in keeping the tug alive.
It will certainly not be the same multi-day event but they had a lot of fun putting on the pull for us and it is very possible they will go ahead with a cub pull. This will work out well for local cubbers and those who are only a few hours away. I will keep you all posted as to the date and what is going to happen.
In any case the Cub Tug logo and the term Cub Tug is transferred to the club for their use.

Darrell,

Great! It would be a shame for all that bubbling testosterone to go to waste. :) :)

Sounds like a winner to me.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Darrell:

Let me know if it happens. Since it will be sort of a new sponsor and new fest, I would like to leave the calendar as it is as it does get archived. I can add the relaunched Tug without losing the Cub Tug and CubFest Reunion data.
