Got To Be NC Festival Cubs

Postby Super A » Mon May 21, 2012 11:30 am

This weekend was the Got To Be NC Festival sponsored by the NC Dept. of Agri. and Consumer Services at the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh. IH Collectors Ch. 37---Eastern NC had an excellent showing of tractors--especially Cubs.....

First, the square noses:

Then a late '50s/early 60's model with some more square noses:

Our own Dusti S's blue ribbon Cub (attracted lots of lookers all weekend)

The Holders' Lo-Boy, finished up in the wee hrs. of the morning the day before the show:

Some lawn mowers.....

Not a Cub, but something unique to eastern NC--IH 784 "Bright Lightnin" aka tobacco special tractor:

IH's are RED. Just say NO to yellow and white!

Let us pray for farmers and all who prepare the soil for planting, that the seeds they sow may lead to a bountiful harvest.

Thanks for posting Al! it was a great weekend with some really great friends, I had a ball.

Now if my Cub just makes it on Max Armstrongs show I'll be giddy as a school girl!
