I really liked the faith Boss showed in Yogie's sledge hammer accuracy by standing behing the wheel while Yogie made the final few hits to remove the tire!
Thanks, Boss, for a great weekend, and I have new respect for those powerful yellow guys!!

As always, I had a great time--wish I could have stayed for the pull. Thanks Boss for your hospitality. I don't think I have ever seen so many square nose cubs in one place!

Great pictures, and thanks for sharing with us.

Yep, those square nose late models ruled this weekend. I think the sled boys were surprised when Boss took them over the edge of the track the first couple pulls, then they started tightening things up a bit.

Had a great time as usual, thanks to everyone involved.
I was expecting the tractor club to still be pulling when I stopped by Sunday morning on my way home, I know they were at it hard until after midnight. Those garden tractors with V4 motorcycle engines are a sight to see when pulling.

Looks like a good time for sure!

So Boss got him a Confederate Pig sticker from LA?

Thanks again! We had a blast - even for those of us who don't have a cub yet. It was a pretty drive up there too. Nice area.

That's not just any ole pig sticker Harold...
I knew exactly what it was when he pulled it from the packing.
It's a original dated 1918 Springfied Trapdoor bayonet plus a real bonus is the scabbard. I know a lot of ole boys up this way who would give a great deal for one of those.
A good WII friend of mine has 2 rifles and told me he could buy all the rifles he wanted when the war started and they were being phased out. Cost back then was $3.oo each, of course they were still new and coated with that ole messy cosmoline.
Not sure of the value of things now but the replica rifle cost around $800
That was one very nice gift for sure.
