2012 Missouri State Fair Tractors and Such

Attended the MO State Fair last week and here's some pics:
Have to brag---This is one of seven quilts my wife entered in the Fair competition. Several were donated to local hospital charities, but this one wasn't. It won a blue ribbon and 3rd Place Best of Show:
Here's a quilt even some of you guys might like. It's my 1947 Circle Cub "Nellie" quilt (won a red ribbon--how appropriate!):
I always make a point to head out to the FFA building. They always have young people show their tractor projects each year. This year was no different:
Here's a Farmall 706 that a young man restored all by himself. Met him at the Cass County Fair a few weeks ago; he drove right behind my Cub in the parade. He did a great job!!
Had a great time at the Fair and the weather cooperated as well (83 degrees, low humidity and clear skies--beautiful!).
