When I see a truck like that, I usually offer some kind of scrap metal (to send them away with something) and tell them that the rest of the junk is actually useful Cub treasures
.
Glad you had a safe trip.... oops, I forgot to send Bob the secret route around DC that Carl told me about.

I took 81 all the way, Roanoke to Scranton, then 84 to Danbury, then across CT. It's 100 miles longer but I drove at speed limit all the way. Except 2 miles into PA there was a fatality and they shut down the road, north and south, so I switched to Rt. 11 for a few miles. Other than that it was all clear.
I just missed one of my favorite things- going over the George Washington Bridge and the Cross-Bronx Expressway with a load of farm equipment. Maybe next time.

Oh yeah, nuttin like the Cross Bronx expressway with a Cub on a big trailer! Last time I came back from Boss' fest Joe and I crossed the GWB at about 3 am (no rooms in NJ!) Funny, in the city that doesn't sleep there was hardly any traffic.
Glad you made it back OK.
