To all those who attended Stonethrow

Postby Kodiak » Mon Oct 08, 2012 12:50 am

It seems so insufficent to just say Thanks but I guess thats the best place to start so Thanks to all those who came to Stonethrow this year. It is truly a blessing to count so many fine folks as our friends. A special thanks to Dale F. and Bob M. for the early arrivials and assistance in getting stuff set-up, it was a big help. Thanks to all the ladies for helping get the food ready to serve and the guys for keeping the shop stuff moving along and that includes Dale at the TC rebuild table :!: Thanks Charles and Jason for all you two did too it did not go un-noticed. We missed some of our regular guest and hope to see them at a Cubfest soon. Hope everyone has a great week ahead.

Ron & Paula
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Ron, I'm with Bill. It is all of us who thank you for hosting such a great gathering year after year, and being such great hosts as well.

You're a great friend as well, and very much appreciated!

Corky
I found this old Cub, Forgotten and Forlorn,
With pistons and valves frozen and worn.
Help from my buddies on Farmallcub.com,
And an engine from Ralph, (37’s the one),
Now ole Corky is running and back to life,
Much to the surprise of my dear, dear wife!

Thank you Ron! You and Paula deserve all the credit.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

For someone without children, these cubfests are a chance to see families the way they should be... with lots of love and interaction. Ron & Paula, your cubfest was full of that!!!!

Thanks for all your hard work and open hearts!

(Oh yeah, and thanks SO much for the substitute drawback, too, Ron!)
