I just thought of something else: Does anyone coming happen to have a set of the tools they advertise on ebay and Red Power that you use to straighten the grilles on A/B/C Farmalls? If so, Those of use with Super A's could peck on our grilles a little--mine has a couple of minor dings...
Looking forward to it!!

Bummer, Al...I loaned my set to someone up in MA! If I had known sooner, I could probably have gotten them back for this. Just means we will have to all go to
your place
next time and pound on your grill!!!!

PS Since we have a few things going, how about 8am for the early birds and whenever for others? I will have coffee and muffins of some sort, and there is a Burger King next door to grab something. Also, if someone wants to come the night before, I have a spare bedroom with queen bed, and lots of floor space with 3 air mattresses available. You are welcome to stay here either Friday or Saturday nights!

Notta problem, came to me the other day that it might be a neat project.
I will shoot for being there around 8:30.
I will try to bring a box of consumables--paper shop towels, various spray stuff, etc. if it will help anybody.
I hope to roll out the welcome mat one day. I have trusses for the roof--but they're stacked in the back yard while the people-house is being built. Hopefully they'll get put up before they rot away...

Al, it would be GREAT if you brought some "constables"...I know that it is often those "little" things that add a lot to all those great folks that put on the REAL Cubfests!
Thanks!

Hmmm...y'know Boss, I don't think you can smoke inside, but I will ask. You can always step outside, even if it rains... there is a large covered area.

Besides the helicoil work, I need some help with old ugly's governor & carb. I am going to see if I can get a kit for it before Saturday but at the least I think it needs a good cleaning. The governor surges some and I've tried adjusting the bumper spring but I believe it is carb related.
Looking forward to it!

Al, Joel will be bringing his SA tomorrow and then MIGHT be heading to Clapp Bros (IH dealer) for a carb kit. Maybe he can get one for you if you know exactly which carb you have.

Dale,
I think it's a Carter, it has O 653 cast in raised letters on the top half of it, on the side of the flange where it bolts to the manifold, but I don't see anything in the parts book that gives that number.

I'd be happy to pick one up while I'm there, but I'm not sure what to tell you. You're in the same predicament I am. here is a post on this exact issue:
http://www.farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=170&t=75843Mine is missing the model number too. Do you have a picture? if it looks exactly like mine it might be the same..

Joel,
I don't have a pic handy, but it is definately not a Zenith or a Marvel-Shrebler. It has a cast iron upper half. That would make it a UT 733S, the number could be the number for the body--it doesn't show the number for just that part in the Super A parts book.
I am trying to remember your carb from your earlier pics. I was thinking it looked more like a Zenith.
Never mind--it's def. a Carter! Looks just like mine and I see you have a number on it in the same spot as mine.
