Cubarama
Cubarama will be Sept 25-27 this year at Fredericktown Mo. For those that have been there, you know how enjoyable it is, both to look at the cubs as well as other IH equipment that is there. Unfortunately due to the low attendance the last couple of years due to economy and the newness wearing off, there is talk of canceling it.

Re: Cubarama
You are still going to be there this year, aren't you? Mary Lou is making me drive her all the way there just to see you. She says it's you and Ms. Jo Ann but I know better. Anyway, I hope they don't cancel this event. I have just freed up my calendar so I can start attending again. The Cub Nation should make this their premier event of the year. Jamie has worked hard for years on this thing and we should show our appreciation.

I made my reservation this morning at the Tradition Inn in Farmington. We should be there Friday after lunch and will leave Saturday afternoon.

I'm coming this year to "Spectate" . Been awhile . I'd haul the '49 if I had a suitable trailer . Being a local tractor it's probably been to more Cubaramas than I have !

Re: Cubarama
Jamie had thought last year may have been the last, but after working with the city and a fairly good turn out the decided to go again this year. Hopefully attendance will pick back up so they can continue in the future.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: Cubarama
I hate to even think of not having this show, it is my baby:)
Just taking it year by year now. I hope to see everyone this year for our lucky 13th show. This show is always worth all the work. It is the tractor family I have made over the years that keeps it going. The show will be here before we know it and I hope everyone that has ever wanted to come make it this year. Even though the quantity of participants may be down that last few shows, the QUALITY of the folks here is always top notch.
I could use a little feed back from everyone regarding the parade and games like the slow race. I love to watch, but need to know if everyone else still enjoys to participate??? Anything new you would like to see????
Can't wait to see you all
Jamie

Re: Cubarama
Jamie, I have heard talk of organizing a cub and cub cadet tractor pull in the past at Cubarama. Is there anything going on with this or was it just a rumor. Thanks...Frank

Re: Cubarama
there was talk of it a couple years ago, but Jamie said the people that owned the garden tractor pulling sled wanted such a high price to bring it they had to abandon the idea.
