Barnyard Bash 2015

Postby Barnyard » Mon Sep 08, 2014 10:24 pm

We had a huge turn out this year and have hopes of getting bigger and better in 2015.

Mark your calendars now and get your vacation plans made for May 29th and 30th.

Rosie and I are looking forward to seeing you all again.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Just put it on the calendar. Certainly hope to be there longer than a Cub Express delivery and pickup. :) :)

Exterior is done. I have been waiting almost three weeks for an electric permit. The inspection company keeps coming up with excuses. I went ahead and started on the install, but can't get it inspected until the permit is issued. As soon as the permit is in hand I will immediately call for an inspection. I have to check on that tomorrow.

I have most of the lower half insulated and some of the OSB covering it. I am not giving it a very heavy insulation, Just enough to fill the void between the purlins.

We appreciate you getting your facility all set for the Bash. Whatever state it's in when the time rolls around, it'll be a great weekend.

One of my classmates, and flying buddy, recently purchased his first Cub and I suggested that he join me on the 29th. (he's on the way, too) I hope he does. I've already steered him to the site, but don't know if he's been here yet.. He's been through the engine, but not feeling comfortable that he has all the HP it's supposed to have.. Has a single spindle belly mower, and will barely spin it.. I asked about timing, valve adjustment and all the normal issues, and he thinks are correct.. He has a trailer, maybe we can bring it down...
