Cubarama

The show was terrific as usual. Big thanks to Jamie for all her hard word to pull it off. The attendance was down a little this year but most of the regulars were there...good to see all my cub pals again. We got home around 11PM last night but I saved the unloading for today :)

I think we gotter if'n she don't jump, Andy Griffith.

Yep, Rosie and I had a great time there also. It is amazing to watch Jamie work this event. I think she puts in 90% of the muscle required to pull it off.

Ken, it was good to see you and Ann again. We were on course to make it home around 11:00 also, but my cold was catching up with me so we laid over in a rest stop a few hours and got in about 1:30 this morning.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Got there a little before Friday Flag Ceremony . Had a good walk around and could smell the paint curing here and there . Even found a serviceable hand hole cover I was needing . It's all good .
The Constitution established a Government in Trust . Go from there .

I was there all 3 days, but drove the 50 miles form home each day, so being the old lazy geezer I am I did not get there real early any day. My thanks to Jamie and all the rest who put on the show and all the work they did. It is the high point of the tractor get togethers for me each year. I get to see a lot of friends I see no other time.

Was my first time to get to attend and was only able to attend Friday, but certainly plan to attend in the future. Was great getting to meet a few of the forum members and easy to identify with the name badges. Bunch of great folks, cubs and cadets and parts.

This was my third Cubarama. Missed last years, had to put a new roof on the house. Saw a lot of familiar faces but they were hip deep in discussions so I did not interrupt. Hope to be able to get the time off and drag my cub over there next year. This working for a living sure does get in the way of my hobbies. Have a local tractor show to get ready for this Saturday and work all week.

Thanks Jamie and all who helped and hauled tractors from near and far.

I guess I am like the proverbial bad penny, and just keep coming back. I have been to every one of them.

Mary Lou and I got home about 9 last night. We went on to Illinois and visited our son up there after the Rama. Great time and got to see a lot of good cubbers. Even met a few new ones.
