About 550 miles today made for a long day, but I made it with no problems. I went to the Bash with NO project for a change, and came home with one Cub Express item (anytime Rick!!), plus a bunch of goodies for myself from Thackery!! (Thanks for bringing a Cub Donor!)
I actually did a bit of plowing...my first!!! Now I know it's a good thing I don't try to garden!! Mowing doesn't require much precision!
Thanks Bill, Rosie, at al, for another great Bash. I have maxed out my "Shop Envy"!

Re: The Bash Has Begun!
For anyone wondering what all I did, or got help doing, or stood back and watched be done to my Cub at this year's Bash, here's a chronological list:
Replaced sections on sickle mower blade
PTO... replaced PTO shaft, transmission shaft, PTO coupler
Evened up brakes
Flattened warped carburetor
Heli-coiled stripped manifold bolt holes on same carburetor
Removed and replaced broken-off idle tube in another carburetor
Chased down and fixed the cause of no charge to battery (How Steve from TN saw that tiny broken wire in my regulator I do not know, and the fact that BigDog was able to solder it will never cease to amaze.)
Mounted sickle mower
I think that's everything. I owe Bob McCarty, Steve from TN, Gary Dotson, BigDog, Thackery (Doug), Ralph, Big Hoss, and many others a debt of gratitude for all the time and effort spent on me and my Cub, and of course Barnyard and Rosie for making this event happen. I tried to earn my keep but I still feel like I got more than I gave, so I want to make sure everyone knows how much I appreciate it all. And I haven't even mentioned that it was a ridiculously good time, to boot! Thank you all, SO much.

Re: The Bash Has Begun!
We arrived home shortly after noon yesterday. I was so beat, I didn't unload anything. I'll get to that today. They really kept me hopping this year and, yes, I had great time with it all. A big thanks to Bill & Rosie! Thanks to the ladies in the kitchen, who turned out a lot of great food. That big new barn is fantastic and allowed for a lot of projects to take place concurrently. As Bigdog said, it gets better every year and we can't wait for next year.

Re: The Bash Has Begun!
Dave and I made it home Friday evening without incident. (except for losing my sunglasses, thanks to whomever found them) Dave's Cub is running much better, and I think with some continued working and some seafoam, it will come into it. It was good to see several old friends there. Thanks to Gary and Bob for their assistance! Thanks as well, to Bill & Rosie for the hospitality. Love that new shop!
