9th Rocky Mtn. Cubfest is over

Postby Bob McCarty » Sun Sep 13, 2015 10:36 am

Sue and I would like to thank all those who attended this year. We know it's a long haul for the out-of-staters to get here. Hopefully, the scenery, weather, sight seeing, and friends all made it worthwhile. This was the biggest yet. Hope to see you all again next year at the 10th!

Thanks to you and Sue for being such great hosts. Rosie and I are just west of St. Louis and should be home by dark.

Bog,
Had an absolutely awesome time. I am currently in Billimgs, Montana headed for Glacier.

The sightseeing and friends are terrific!

I had a wonderful time and am just tickled pink to have an operational sickle mower! Many many thanks to everyone who pitched in to get the old thing back together with thread chasing, rivet removal, rivet installation, parts runs, special custom after market bracket modification, jerry rigging, gerrymandering, goat roping, and field hospital frontal lobotomy's.

As always, thank's to Bob and Sue for the gracious hospitality and wonderful meals! You guys put out a great spread and never skimp on the sauerkraut ;).

Special thanks to Bob's already assembled and operational sickle mower as a constant reference for all those 'is that right? That doesn't look right' moments. I wasn't sure it would ever be in one piece again. I also have a nice new set of injection molded lift arm bushings courtesy of Barnyard.

I'm hoping we can make it down to Florida in February for Sneadfest 2016.

Thanks Again!

Just got home from the airport...made it on the only non-stop DEN-RDU, and had tons of legroom!!! Standby flying isn't always a horror story!!!

Thanks, Bob and Sue for a great time!! So good to finally meet you, Sue! Hope you can make it to DSCF...I am sure I will have a project that needs your help. Besides, it's that or crocheting!!!

Billie and I just got home from the airport after spending a couple of days in the Denver area with friends. No drama this time. Got to Denver airport in plenty of time and arrived in Nashville at 4:40 PM, on time.

Great week! Thanks again to Bob & Sue for their hospitality.
