DSCF Thanks to everyone
Thanks to MR E for hosting and to everyone who helped on my projects. I will not list names because I would either leave someone out or in some cases I do not know the name. I came home with a rebuilt J4 mag, repaired Zenith carb, welding projects completed (or almost completed to be brought back by someone else), a mower for parts/other uses, 2ea. 9.5 x 24 turf tires, and (after being chastised by BR that it was the wrong color) got the ring gear flipped on a flywheel for an ongoing engine rebuild on an AC D12. Great lunch and fellowship/visiting with old and new friends, not to mention the terrific weather. Had an uneventful trip home and arrived about 10 PM. Thanks everyone who made it possible and looking forward to LA Cubfest in two weeks and DSCF next year.

Re: DSCF Thanks to everyone
Truly miracles do happen at DSCF!! Although Barnyard got his non-runner going before mine, I not only got my "new" '56 Cub running, but Billy Ray twisted my arm and convinced me to go ahead with a 12v conversion. SO many folks jumped right in, that I will just say THANKS to all you fantastic guys!!!
BR let me hog space as some guys drilled out and retapped dogleg screws, soldered in a new radiator overflow tube, welded new nuts onto the gas tank/hood, tweaked the gov/carb linkage, and more! I flushed the radiator (YUCK!), drained and refilled the transmission (not very bad), and drained the water and goo from the steering gear housing. Can't remember what else was accomplished, but it sure looked more respectable departing this afternoon than when it arrived!
So a huge thank you to all who helped, and an even bigger one to Mr E's team! Great folks working on a fun obsession, enjoying super food!

Re: DSCF Thanks to everyone
Rosie and I rolled into the barnyard about 8:30 this morning. Left great company and terrific weather at 4:00 pm yesterday so we made great time getting home.
I too want to thank everybody who had a hand in this weekends fun. The DSCF crew sure knows how to make things happen.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: DSCF Thanks to everyone
TN Boys are back home. Easy drive back with some rain showers, but no big deal.
The big deal was the DSCF. What a great time we had with all of the regulars and "non-regulars". Met lots of new folks who are as proud as we are to own a cub.
Thanks to Mary and Roy for hosting this great event. Thanks also to Jim, Tim and BR for all that they do.
Please invite us back next year.
