Re: Barnyard Bash Projects
Barnyard,
This is somewhat Bash related.
Noticed you had gotten name tags in years past and distribited some of them during the Bash. Are you doing the name tag thing this year? I would be interested if you do. What Info do you need and do you need advance payment.
Thanks.....Stalkcutter

I no longer do that since interest dwindled and the bulk price increased dramatically. Here is how you can order one. viewtopic.php?f=145&t=21499
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Bill,
I've got two Touch Control units that I want to rebuild. Rebuild kits, you betcha! I haven't decided whether I will bring them with or without the tractors.

Re: Barnyard Bash Projects
Sounds good Bill. I think we will have a great weekend. Now let's hope for great weather to boot.
So far it looks like we have the following projects:
• Replacing points and condenser
• Checking the timing, and adjusting valves.
• Check/service a fan hub.
• Replace final drive seals.
• Zenith carb cleaned and manifold studs helicoiled.
• Hydraulic pump rebuild.
• Free up sticky governor arm
• Rewire Cub
• Rebuild three touch controls
• Install new fuel line
• Extract broken dog leg screws.
• Drill & helicoil implement bolt holes on torque tube
• Check out a couple of newly purchased Cubs.

Re: Barnyard Bash Projects
I am trying to bring the latest addition to my Cubs, would be fun to see what we can determine to be the problem and how serious.
I also want to do a couple fuel lines.
Go over a Zenith.
Etc.
Mostly just get some good tractor time with you guys.

Bill
I have a dash (hood gas tank support) on one of my 47 cubs that is cracked at the bottom, like all they all do. Will anyone be there to help weld it? I will have it removed from the cub.

Re: Barnyard Bash Projects
The Bash is getting close! Hope to make it for the first time. I"ll try to figure out a project to bring. Maybe a hydraulic pump rebuild if I get the kit in time. Looking forward to meeting some new faces and visiting with familiar faces as well. I"ll be driving my car for this trip. Will be able to pickup some of my Cub Express items. Can't wait! Hope to be there early. ...Frank

Frank, we look forward to meeting you at the Bash. Even if the kit doesn't make it in time, you will still enjoy the CubFest. You will definitely meet a bunch of great folks and eat a lot of food.
