Potential MiniFest - ►CANCELED◄

Postby Barnyard » Mon Aug 15, 2016 8:46 am

Just tossing this out to find out who may be interested in a MiniFest. Last year we had a minifest in October and it was cold, but it was well attended so we want to try again. This year we want to bump it up a bit and schedule it for a bit warmer weekend in September.

So here it is, how many would be interested in attending on September 17th? This is the weekend that CI CubFest used be held on. The plan is to expect early arrivals all day Friday if they wish (we could play around with Cubs or whatever), have a full day Saturday for Cub stuff and campers can stay over until Sunday. We will provide a meal on Saturday while Friday everyone would be on their own.

Please let me know how it looks on your schedule.

Great to hear you're thinking about another one.
Jo and I would love to come back, but that's going to be a really busy time for us this year. A couple weeks later would work better for us, but it's all good.
Besides, what are the chances of it being that cold two years in a row? Haha!
Thanks!

I'm sorry, Bill, that weekend our son has something planned that is important that Jo and I attend. October, as last year, we will not be available. Good luck, always a good time in the Barnyard.

After careful deliberation, September 17 could likely work for us.

Candy has a baby shower to attend that day. Very likely I will attend Saturday only.

Well, I thought about canceling this date, but was undecided. That was until I got home from Portland today and realized I have an important AmVets function that, as an executive board member, should attend that weekend. So that made up my mind pretty fast.

I will post the new date in a new thread momentarily.

Sorry for any trouble this may have caused.
