2018 Buckeye Cub Tug - July 27 - 28

Postby 1541 » Mon Jan 15, 2018 7:57 pm

All of the same excitement and fun as last year. If you are coming from out of town and normally leave after the Golden Shaft has been awarded you may want make plans to stay an extra night. This year we have a little something special cooked up for the barn party following the Tug. Joining us direct from Nashville will be singer songwriter Sara Simmons. Word has it that she may even make a run for the Golden Shaft.

You can find the latest information at http://cubtug.com/ or visit us on Facebook

Will the family feud between David Cole and Ashley Cherry continue in 2018?

I'll bring my flag and flagpole to the pulling track if she sings the national anthem to open the pull.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

 Nope, sadly. The band I've been drumming for booked a five night run of shows starting that Thursday night. Happy for the extra income, but it sure stings to miss the Tug. I hope I have better luck with the calendar next year. I look forward to the Bash and the Tug all year long.

There will be some implements and parts for sale there, although it would have been helpful if you'd placed a "wanted" in the Vine subforum so attendees would know what you were looking for. The plow, cultivators, and disc are fairly common, the post hole digger is rare and expensive. And welcome to the Forum.
