Just got back from DSCF in sunny Sneads, FL. My thanks go to Roy, Mary, Jim, Tim, Billy Ray, Raymond and all those who worked hard to make the cubfest the success that it was. Looking forward to next year, already. :D

Deep South CubFest! It was a great weekend of tinkering with cubs, eating great food, and visiting with some super forum members who can REALLY tell tall tails!!
:tractor: :tractor:

Note: There will be another cubfest in Cincinnati (called the Barnyard Bash)...only about 4 hrs from you. Check it out and try to attend! Here is this year's calendar:

Made it home about an hour and half ago, been filling Paula in ! Mr. E and team Thanks for such a great weekend! it was extremely nice to get back into the Cub community again! It felt like I never missed a best. Food was Great and friends were even better!!! Some us talked about Stonethrow and Paula said the first one was 2006 and the one we stopped on was 2012 just a bit of FYI and Denny the cap you were wearing didn't go unnoticed ! Thanks again Mr. Roy and now back to work in the shop, got a couple of projects before it gets hot this summer!
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Spiveys are home safe, and also want to thank our hosts and their helpers. DSCF is one of the best Cubfests ever, and really starts the season off on a great note! Already planning on getting back next year, and maybe even sneak in a halfway visit!

Thanks to Mr. & Mrs. E and to all who helped with this event . What a great weekend , it more like a family reunion than a tractor event . I always learn a lot at every Fest and this was no exception. It gives me much pleasure to see those little tractors pushed into a shop and see a team form and go to work to help that machine become mobile once again. What a great group of people to socialize with, thank you all for allowing me to be a part of it .

I started out with nothing and now I only have half of that left !

Thanks to all who worked to put together another great CubFest. The weather was perfect. Rosie and I left at 2:30 with 82 degrees and got home 13 1/2 hours later the find 32 degrees at the barnyard. We drove straight through all night. Bill Hudson tagged along with us until almost midnight and decided to quit tailing us in Bowling Green Ky.
It is common sense to take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something.

Got home safe this afternoon. Another great weekend at DSCF. Thanks to Roy and Mary and all who worked hard to make it a success. Can't wait until next year. For all those who wanted Terry's Peanut Butter Pie Recipe, here it is.

8 oz cream cheese
2 Tablespoons milk
1 Cup powdered sugar
small carton non-dairy whipped topping
1/2 Cup peanut butter, smooth or crunchy
Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until fluffy. Blend in peanut butter and milk. Fold in non-dairy whipped topping. Pour into either graham cracker crust or any crust of your choosing. Garnish with pieces of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups Minis.

Yes, what a CubFest!!! Thanks to the crew for a masterful job.

Just arrived home a bit ago and Jo, Marcy and the Grandgirls were here. What a treat!
