Oil - Water filter for a compressor

What's a "good filter"to onstall for my compressor, to stop (what I think is condensation flow) in my sandblasting operations? I just can't get an even medium flow ----from the machine . I've tried several different kinds and still get the same result .

You can't filter condensation, but you can trap it. A trap would consist of a down leg with a drain. It's best to have it far enough from the compressor for the air to cool.

Here's a great diagram for how your compressor should be hooked up. You can duplicate most of it with parts from a plumbing supply or hardware store. Copper pipe works well also. TP is great to deal with as well.

Yea George. It never seemed that I got much water in my compresser tank. So I was very supprised when I painted my wagon. I got a the big blue water trap and regulater from harbor freight. hooked it to the end of a 50' airline from the tank then hooked that to the airline from the paint gun. I used 3/4 gallon of primer and 1 gallon of paint and must have gotten a quart of water out of it
