Don't hate me but it is green

Postby mac » Fri Jun 09, 2006 5:14 pm

I am helping a friend work on his 38 L. The problem we are having is that it is out of time. The mag is a Wico. There is a timeing mark on the mag but none on the gear in the houseing. What is the best way to get her back in time? There is a mark for TDC but how do we put the mag back in to get it close to time and then adjust later. Thank for any help on this green problem

Can you time a tractor with only half an engine?????

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that!

Time the mag to fire on no. 1 wire when you have no. 1 cylinder TDC adjust from there later.
