Exhaust lift manifold lower bowl

Postby Phillip W. Lenke » Tue Jul 18, 2006 8:46 am

Fellows. I have been searching for lower bowls for the mainfold pressure vave. They are either broken or soon to be. This being said, I am hoping to machine a few up. Mainly for my use. If I can, I may make a few available to forum members . Not sure of the time or cost yet. I am planning to draw it up and cnc machine one out of cold roll or P-20 steel , then get it ceramic coated. This has been used for exhaust on tractors and dragsters(Jet hot.com). Suppose to be able to handle the heat , water and the gases. we'll see. But figure it will out last all of us.
Being a Patternmaker/Model Maker by Trade , I have mulled over the casting part, but, by the time I find a cast shop and make my patterns. It would be better to machine them. Let me know how much iterest there is for these .

Phil,

Put me down on the list, assuming the cost will be affordable.

Please put amounts down. I may see if we can run them through the shop.
