Seeing you guys on here are very fast and helpfull, though I would try a hard one for you...

My dad is working on someones old Cockshut (Forgive me for killing the spelling on this one  )

Where can he get parts for it? Specifically brake parts...

Thanks again.

Oliver. http://www.ytmag.com/cgi-bin/ntracz.pl?m=cshut

YTmag has a Cockshutt board. Also a listing for Cockshutt parts suppliers.

You might try http://www.Valu-bilt.com. First place I would try is my local autoparts store, specially if you live in a rural area and the parts store is used to obtaining tractor parts.

Well, it might be that I'm the only Cockshutt guy on here, so I better jump in!

It depends somewhat on what model the Cockshutt is and what brake parts are needed. If brake linings are needed, your best bet is an auto machine shop. Most can get lining material and reline your originals. A couple sources who may be able to help are: Nick Jonkman 519-899-2566 and Phil Heisey 215-256-8651. Both of thes guys deal in re-production Cockshutt parts, Phil also some used parts. At the very least, they may be able to point you in the right direction. Be sure to join the International Cockshutt Club, the Cockshutt Quarterly is very useful. For membership send $20 to: Donna Engel 1506 Indian Lakes Rd. Kent City MI. 49330-9430
Hope this helps!
