I forgot about his engine at my deceased parents home. It seems to be a big one. I will get pics tommrow. Heres the numbers though.

It does have a gear redution on it. I'm thinking its a 9 HP.

You should be able to find more info on this particular unit at the Briggs & Stratton web page. Seems pretty comprehensive.
Unfortunately, I was not able to find info on your particular engine. Probably because there is none to be had at this particular moment.
I do have a B&S Service Manual.. can you post more detailed engine information to aid in the search. Oh, I also mentioned in the B&S Survey.. what the shortcomings were, why I was there and what improvements could be made.. such as increase the size and composition of the on-line archive.
