Lincoln Welder

Does anybody know anything about this type of welding machine? Perhaps year model? It works. Picked it up really cheap at an auction.

I will tell you...it is heavy. Must have miles of copper in it.

Not familiar with that particular model, but unless they've changed you can download manuals for practically all their welders past and present from theiir website http://www.lincolnelectric.com

Hr. I think you have a real gem of an welder, At the vo-tech school where I took up some welding they had a bunch of those Idealarc welders your welder probably has an 100% duty cycle. Meaning you can weld for 10 minuets(sp) continious then cool for 10min. on other welders the duty cycle varys as the amp range goes up. the a.c - d.c. switch allows you to use a wide varitey of welding rods, I wouldn't mind having your welder wish I could find one like it.
